What is Milestone Duration?

Milestone Duration is a feature that allows Admins and Standard+ users to define the expected time each milestone in a play should take to complete. By setting clear expectations for each phase of a play, teams can more easily track progress and identify delays within specific milestones—rather than only seeing that the overall play is behind.

How to Enable Milestone Duration

  1. Navigate to the Play Template you'd like to edit.

  2. Go to the Milestones section in the main window.

  3. Click the three dots on the right-hand side of a milestone.

  4. Select “Set Milestone Duration.”

How to Use Milestone Duration

Once enabled, you can choose between two ways to set durations:

  • Edit by Duration: Set the number of days each milestone should take.

  • Edit by Start and End: Define exactly which days post-launch each milestone should occur.

Impact of Using Milestone Duration

Milestone Duration gives Admins greater insight into play performance by highlighting exactly where delays may be occurring. Rather than simply knowing a play is behind, you’ll be able to pinpoint which milestone is off-track—making it easier to address issues quickly and effectively.

Notes & Warnings

  • Milestone Durations are linear—you cannot have overlapping durations between milestones.
