What Are Pinned Fields
Pinned Fields let you surface important information — like discovery insights or action-related details — from one Play Type to another within the same Account.
This means data captured during pre-sales (like “General Pain Points” or “Adapters”) can automatically appear in post-sales Plays without any manual transfer.
To make this possible, Admins can configure Discovery Fields and Play Action Fields to be pinned across Play Types. These pinned fields show up in a new “Pinned Info” tab in the Related Information drawer of each Play.
How to Use Pinned Fields
Accessing Pinned Fields (for all users):
Open any Play
Click the Related Information icon
Select the Pinned Info tab to view fields shared from other Plays in the same Deal
🔁 Example:
A rep fills out the “General Pain Points” field in a “POC” Play.
This field is pinned, so it also appears in the “Implementation” Play under the same Deal.
Configuring Pinned Fields (Admins only):
Navigate to:
Create a new field or edit an existing one
Under Play Types, select the Play Types where the field should be pinned
Example:
Pin “Adapters” to both your “POC” and “Kickoff” Play Types so implementation teams always have that info upfront.
