Deals within Prelay allow you to see the Prelay activity associated with particular Opportunity or Account within a CRM, including both Plays and Assists. Deals highlights specific action items within Plays and Assists that contribute to risk within a deal such as blocked Actions or overdue assignments. This document outlines the types of information you can expect to find and the behavior for how each insight functions.

Overall Expectations

  • We’re filtering out Archived (for Plays and Assists) and Deleted (Plays, Assists, Actions) items

  • Completed items may still be shown in Risks and Take Notice if relevant

    • eg. if a Completed Play Action has a Failed Test Action, it will still be shown in the “Failed Test Action” section

    • However, Completed items are not considered “Overdue” even if they were overdue at the time of their completion, so they will not show up in the “Overdue” section

  • The same item (Assist, Play Action) may show up multiple times if they fulfill multiple categories. For example, a Blocked Action that is also Overdue will show up in both sections, and contribute 2 Risks to the Deal/Play

Deal List View

The Deal List View provides the ability to browse multiple Deals simultaneously. Plays, Assists, Risks, and Take Notice counters are displayed for each Deal.

Note: Items in Risk and Take Notice tabs are limited to 10 with a “see more” button to browse more

Risks

Risks highlight areas of immediate action with a Play or an Assist that could significantly impact a Deal. Below are the following items that will trigger an alert in this tab:

  • Blocked Actions

  • Failed Test Actions

    • Actions that are COMPLETED or SKIPPED will not be shown

  • Overdue Actions

    • sorted by due date (most overdue first)

    • Actions that are already COMPLETED or SKIPPED will not be shown

  • Overdue Assists

    • sorted by due date (most overdue first)

    • Assists that are COMPLETED or REJECTED will not be shown

  • Rejected

    • includes both Assists and Approvals

  • Waiting date is longer than SLA/Needed By

  • Overdue Plays

Take Notice

Take Notice highlights items that will become Risks in the near future without action. Below are the following items that qualify for the tab:

  • Plays Ending Soon

  • Due Soon

    • ≤ 5 days

  • Waiting On

    • Assists that are ‘WAITING’ will not be shown

Note:

  • Assists and Play Actions that fulfill multiple categories may be shown more than once. ie. A blocked Action that is also overdue will show up in both categories and contribute 2 Risks to the Deal/Play

  • Completed items may still be shown in Risks and Take Notice when relevant

    • i.e. A completed Play Action has a failed Test Action

    • Completed items are not considered “overdue” even if they were overdue at the time of their completion

  • Archived Plays and Assists are filtered out

Deal Details

The Deal Details page provides even more information that may be important for Deal retrospectives. Misses highlight events that are unable to be acted upon, but provide helpful context when reviewing a Play.

Misses

  • Success Criteria marked as MISS within a Play

  • SLAs marked as MISS on an Assist

  • Overall Play Timeline

    • Play End Date is after current date
