The summer holiday season is here, but our product team is still moving fast. We’re excited to share some big updates to our buyer collaboration and approval workflows that will help make your sales team shine. Let’s dive in!

👀 Toggle Visibility for Any Play Milestone or Action

We know Prelay users love the buyer collaboration within Plays, and we wanted to make it even easier to manage which items are internal vs. external facing.

  • What’s new: Within each Play, users can now instantly change the visibility of Milestones and Actions to “Internal Only,” hiding them from Presentation and External Views. Admins can also manage these settings at the template level.

  • Rest easy: Yellow highlights clearly indicate which material is hidden from external stakeholders. Any time a user switches these items to External-facing, an automated pop-up will ask them to confirm.

  • Bonus: We’ve also added greater flexibility for admins to edit milestone names and rearrange their order within the Template Builder.

👍 Simplify Even Your Most Complex Approvals

Earlier this year, we rolled out our Approvals workflow, a robust cross-functional layer that sits within Prelay Assists. Our latest release includes expanded support for linear approvals.

  • What’s new: Teams can now sequence out multiple people or groups of approvers, and run those completions based on unanimity or first response.

  • See it in action: The screenshot below shows one example of how this process might look, with a single deal moving through Manager, Deal Desk, Legal, and Finance approvers.

  • Note: Only approvers within an active Step will receive notifications. You can talk to your admin to learn more about setting up these workflows.

🧹 Tidying Up Your Prelay Workspace

Finally, we’ve made it simpler for both users and admins to keep their Prelay dashboards clean and efficient. This includes a new Archive column where you can stash unnecessary or redundant items. (You can unarchive any Play or Assist at any time.)

We’ve also added the ability for admins to set templates as Active or Inactive, allowing teams to retire old Play and Assist types so that users aren’t overwhelmed with options when kicking off a new motion.

Those are the highlights from this month! We hope you dive into Prelay to check them out for yourself. If you wan’t to learn more, please reply here or ping us on Intercom in the Prelay app and we’ll be in touch.

Cheers,

Team Prelay 🏆
